Hoodies for Hope was a fundraiser in the 2010-2011 school year to help a former student from Hebron to gather hooded sweatshirts for children on a Native American Reservation in Minnesota. We gathered youth sizes mostly, but also took adult sizes that were mediums or smaller.
Overall, we collected more than 160 hooded sweatshirts! Very impressive, especially considering how quickly this was put together.
We are kicked this off with a video over the Channel 1 televisions, and followed it up with classroom visits and announcements. There were nicely decorated boxes at the elementary, middle, and high school offices.
Here is a picture of the members that helped organize and make this a success.
