NJHS Meeting: September 5
Business: Carried banners, firework race, Ronald McDonald House,and Indiana Beach.
Haunted House: Theme-International, next meeting is sptember 26 at lunch in my room, know you're group, ideas, and be prepared to share thoughts and ask questions.

Council Meeting: October 9
NJHS Meeting October 10
Business: Discussed how all the planning for the haunted house is going. Began some minor details for the Big Brother Big Sister event coming up after the Haunted House on November 17th from 2 - 6 P.M. Revisited obligations of being a member since we are going to be ending a quarter soon at school. Talked about getting workers for the Elementary Arts and Crafts Fair, and also having workers at the Town's Block Party.

NJHS Meeting: November 7
Business: Filled in evaluations of the haunted house, and discussed its success. Raised $4500 and all workers are being invited to go Angel-Tree shopping in December. Our next big event is our first Big-Brother Big Sister day on November 17th from 3 to 7 P.M. Sign up with Bri or Mr. Pastrick by the 14th. We discussed the upcoming Induction ceremony on December 7th and how all members are expected to attend. Currently we have applications passed out to those that met the GPA criteria. Last, we watched a video from the haunted house.

Business: Discussed the Induction ceremony to be held that Friday. Practiced it in the gym as well. Talked about Angel-Tree shopping and other events going on for Make-A-Difference Day.

Business: Discussed how the previous events, Inductions and Make-A-Difference Day, went. Talked about upcoming events such as the Winterfest, the boy-scout night, the "Science Night", and Penny Wars (March). Also spent quite a bit of time discussing the obligations for all members and answering questions for the new members about what they do as members, etc.

Business: Went over obligations as a member, hours, and demerit letters that have recently been passed out. We talked about the Boy Scout Night from the previous week, and how we bought the supplies for the Empty Bowls Project. New business included Winterfest this Saturday, Big Brother / Big Sister day on March 16th, the upcoming Penny Wars from March 4-21, and the eventual Leadership Week in mid April. T-shirt forms were passed out also, and are due back on Tuesday the 12th.

Business: Discussed the Winterfest and Penny War convo. We then discussed Penny Wars and how we count the money as well as making announcements. Next, we talked about the upcoming BBBS event on March 16th. After this we explained more about the 2nd grade reading night on April 5th, and finally we discussed the Leadership Week in mid April. After this we broke up into small groups to work on the BBBS, the 2nd grade reading night, and Leadership Week. Stay tuned to announcements at school regarding upcoming meetings to help organize these events.

Business: Discussed in detail the 2nd grade reading night and the days' events for leadership week, including how to apply for being an officer for next year. Went over past events and future events as well.

Business: Reviewed the Science Fair and BBBS night in early May. Also talked about how the "What Would You Bring to the Table" drive went and the Tornado drive to help those in Oklahoma. Collected all hours as well as dues that were owed. Discussed summer hours and how we have 2 big events to help with...the Fireworks 5k and the town parade, both on July 4th.
