August 26 and 27- Aukki River Festival
October 5- Haunted house dairy queen night 5-7. Awesome turnout to help support the haunted house!
October 24- Haunted house dairy queen night 5-7. Once again, an amazing turnout!
October Haunted house 25th 3 - 9 P.M. set up; 26th 7 - 9 P.M., 27th Kid time 3:30 - 5 P.M. Open time 7 - 9 P.M., 28th 7 - 9 P.M. Had the most ever attend at both kid time and open time. A handful of problems didn't stop us from having a super successful event.
November 18- Big brother big sister 3-7. Had the usual number of kids, around 100. Pretty much kept to the same routine of games / activities, then movies the last part of the night.
December 9- Angel tree. Super smooth experience again this year. Ended up buying for 53 angels this year! We decorated the elementary afterwards like usual as well, then played games and had pizza after that.
February 2- Second grade science night. Great turnout again. Wed had the following 4 rooms for the 2nd graders to visit / explore for approximately 25 minutes each: Planetarium, Crazy Lab, Animal room, and the Wild Wonderful and Weird room of Science.
March 3- Big Brother Big sister. Once again we had more than 100 attend. Similar routine, but we did manage to go outside for 30 minutes for all the groups. Nice change of pace due to some pretty good weather.
March 9 - Induction ceremony was @ 7 P.M. in the middle school gym. We inducted nearly 30 new students this year.
March - Penny wars ends. This year we raised just over $2500 for Mrs. Wilber! This is the most we have raised in many, many years.
April - Science Fair. What an awesome event this year. We went all in and it turned out great. We had nearly 30 elementary entries and almost 60 middle school entries. We added music, and many side events for kids to participate in while waiting, such as: the planetarium, a maker space, a coloring / puzzle table, and of course...R2D2.
April (leadership week) - This year we had a movie night (Jumanji), a nerf-gun battle, the goofy awards, the staff vs. students games, the Hebron Havoc 3, and of course the lock-in.
April - Glow dance. This turned out much cooler than expected. We had 100 students attend this event. Kids did the music themselves and included a karaoke (sing-along) contest. With many glow in the dark designs, glow sticks, glow balloons, this event was very unique and fun.
May 12- Big brother big sister. Final one of the year was great. Again, had over 100 students.
July 13 - Ronald McDonald House for the old officers (from this past year).
