Upcoming Events
Dates, times, and more details will be available as events get close, but this list will GROW as well.
October 8 & 21- Haunted house dairy queen nights...pretty good attendance but weather was a factor the 2nd night.
October 24-26 - Haunted House 5 - 10ish P.M. Amazing! Record attendance & proceeds to help kids at Christmas. Over 1000 at kid, and more than 2500 total in attendance. $14,800 total. Fast passes were a huge hit as well as the Saturday Special Scare night.
November 16- Big brother big sister. We had just over 100 elementary students attend our event. We are having many more 2-5 graders attend than we do K-1, so we may think about altering this in the future.
December 7 - Elementary decorating. We came in at 4 and decorated for a few hours, then had pizza and played games. The decorating was ok, but next year we may end up limiting the number of workers allowed (part way through we had too many and not enough work left to do).
December 15 - Angel Tree Shopping. We bought presents for 73 angels at Meijer this year. The total came out to $11,000. As soon as we finished shopping, we hustled back to the school to wrap everything for the Lion's Club to pick up.
January 17 - PCC Crossover. We hosted 4 other schools' leaders during the day. Student leaders had the opportunity to participate in many team-building activities together, share ideas their organizations do, had pizza for lunch, and even had a little bit of time to plan an event for all the schools to be a part of this spring. Overall, there were approximately 80 students that attended.
February 22 - Induction Ceremony, 7 PM. We inducted 29 new students into our chapter.
March 2 - 19 - Penny Wars. A few changes this year. The overall class with the most money gets $50 for a party of their choosing. The grade level with the most money will get a movie one day during school. Silver is negative, all else is positive.
March 14 - Big brother big sister, 2 - 9 PM
ALL DATES BELOW ARE POSTPONED AS OF NOW. WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO RESCHEDULE AS MANY AS POSSIBLE ONCE WE RETURN TO SCHOOL.
April 8 - Science Fair. Set up is from 2 - 4 P.M. The event is from 4 - 6 P.M. Clean up is afterwards.
April 11- Decorate 4 - 8 P.M.
April 13 - Movie night, 5:30 - 8 P.M. Movie: Jumanji, the Next Level.
April 15- Dodgeball tournament. In addition to a tournament, students will also be able to compete in open games.
April 17- Staff vs. Students games during the day, 1 - 2:40 P.M.
April 17- PCC Games, 6 - 8 P.M.
April 18 - Lock-in from 3 - 10 P.M.
April 24 - 2nd Grade Science Day. This year we are hosting this event during the day. The change was made this year to make sure that ALL 2nd graders could attend the event.
May 9th - Big Brother Big Sister day , 2-9 P.M.
Monthly Mandatory Meetings (these will be in the media center during first lunch this year unless otherwise announced):
